I use two main methods to create custom apparel: Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) and Direct to Film (DTF).
Each method has its strengths and is chosen based on the type of artwork and the final look you're going for.
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)
HTV involves cutting solid-colored vinyl into custom shapes or text. After cutting, I carefully remove the excess material [a process called weeding] and apply the design to fabric using a heat press.
Direct to Film (DTF)
DTF allows for full-color designs, like digital illustrations or detailed artwork. The image is printed onto a special vinyl sheet, then cut and heat-pressed just like HTV.
